Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Pristina
Arrive at Prishtina International Airport and meet with your local guide. We’ll transfer to Prevalla in the Sharr Mountains, stopping en route in the historic city of Prizren for sightseeing and lunch. After, we continue to our cabin in Prevalla, where we’ll stay for 3 nights.

  • Day 2: Konjushka Peak – Prevalla
Today we ascend Konjushka Peak (2,572 m), part of the Sharr Mountains along the Kosovo–North Macedonia border. Starting from Prevalla Pass (1,515 m), we’ll enjoy 360° panoramic views and the solitude of this rarely visited mountain.

Distance: approx. 11 km ↑ 1,100 m ↓ 1,100 m

  • Day 3: Brezovica Ski Resort
After a short transfer (30 min) to Brezovica Ski Resort, we explore this semi-functional 1970s ski resort, a forgotten relic of Yugoslav winter sports. Depending on lift access, we’ll start from 1,700 m or 2,200 m to reach the peaks of Piribreg (2,524 m) or Guri i Zi (2,536 m). From here, enjoy a nearly 1,000 m off-piste descent with endless freeride options through alpine terrain, gullies, and forested slopes.

Distance: approx. 12.5 km ↑ 750 m ↓ 1,610 m

  • Day 4: Prevalla – Gacaferi (Sharr to Accursed Mountains)
We depart the Sharr Mountains and head to the wild and remote Accursed Mountains. Arrival at the highest guest house in the region, Gacaferi, requires an off-road 4x4 transfer, followed by a short ski tour to reach the lodge while our luggage is transported by snowmobile.

Distance:approx: 4.5 km ↑ 430 m ↓ 20 m

  • Day 5: Gacaferi – Three Border Peak
We aim for the natural border point between Kosovo, Albania, and Montenegro. Ski in multiple valleys and even try some Montenegro powder in Bogicevica Valley. Easier options are available for varying abilities.

Distance approx: 10 km ↑ 600 m ↓ 600 m

  • Day 6: Maja e Bardh
Ascend Maja e Bardh on the Kosovo–Albania border. Ski down to the remote Albanian village of Doberdol, then skin up again (~200 m) to return to Kosovo and descend on another mountain village.

Distance approx: 8.6 km ↑ 900 m ↓ 800 m

  • Day 7:  Maja Bogicaj – Peja
A shorter ski touring day. After descending from Maja Bogicaj (2,406 m), we enjoy a light lunch at the guesthouse, then ski to our car for a short transfer to Peja, the capital of outdoor activities in Kosovo. We’ll end the adventure with a celebratory dinner.

Distance approx: 5 km ↑ 520 m ↓ 520 m

  • Day 8: Transfer to Airport
After breakfast, we transfer to Prishtina International Airport for departure.
