Overview

Begin an unforgettable journey to Everest Base Camp via a unique route to the Gokyo Lakes. This trek offers an incredible mix of high-altitude adventure, pristine turquoise lakes, and panoramic mountain vistas, including some of the highest peaks in the world. 


Experience vibrant Sherpa culture, traverse the thrilling Cho-La Pass, and stand at the foot of Mount Everest. This route blends raw natural beauty with cultural discovery, making it perfect for adventurers looking to explore the heart of the Himalayas.


  • Hike to Everest Base Camp, standing at the foot of the highest mountain in the world.
  • Experience the vibrant Sherpa culture in remote villages like Namche Bazaar.
  • Trek through the stunning Gokyo Lakes and explore their serene surroundings.
  • Conquer the thrilling Cho-La Pass for dramatic views of the Himalayas.
  • Enjoy acclimatization hikes with panoramic views of Everest and neighboring peaks.

Itinerary

  • Day 1: Fly to Lukla - Hike to Benkar
    Fly into Lukla and begin your trek through picturesque villages, with views of the surrounding peaks as you hike to Benkar for your first night in the mountains.


  • Day 2: Benkar to Namche Bazaar
    After breakfast, continue to Jorsalle, then ascend to Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital. Acclimatize and explore this vibrant town.


  • Day 3: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar
    Hike to the Everest Viewpoint for breathtaking panoramas of Everest and surrounding peaks. Explore Namche Bazaar and rest.


  • Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Dole via Mong
    Hike through scenic alpine forests, past grazing yaks, to Dole, with stunning mountain views along the way.


  • Day 5: Dole to Gokyo
    Head towards the Gokyo Lakes, exploring the turquoise waters and their surreal beauty.


  • Day 6: Gokyo Ri and Thagnak
    Ascend to Gokyo Ri for panoramic views of the Himalayas. Continue to Thagnak to prepare for tomorrow's pass.


  • Day 7: Cho-La Pass to Dzong La
    Tackle the challenging Cho-La Pass (5,420m), and descend to the village of Dzong La for the night.


  • Day 8: Dzong La to Lobuche/Gorakshep
    Hike to Lobuche and after lunch, make your way to Gorakshep, the last stop before Everest Base Camp.


  • Day 9: Everest Base Camp & Return to Feriche
    Early morning ascent to Everest Base Camp, stand at the foot of the world’s highest mountain, then descend to Feriche.


  • Day 10: Feriche to Namche Bazaar
    Hike back down to Namche Bazaar, retracing your steps.


  • Day 11: Namche Bazaar to Lukla
    Complete your trek as you descend back to Lukla for your flight back.


  • Day 12: Fly back to Kathmandu
    Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu, marking the end of your Everest adventure.
